Family Days That Actually Work

Family Days That Actually Work

By Tony DePass · Local field note · Texas edition

Family itineraries fail when adults plan for mileage instead of energy.

One water block. One cultural block. One easy meal.

That is enough. Use early morning for outdoor activity, the hottest hours for shade or an indoor stop, and keep the evening flexible.

For parks, verify capacity, swimming conditions, restrooms and trail difficulty before promising children a specific plan.
